One UI 8 Stable Update Rolling For Galaxy Wide 8 and Galaxy A35

Samsung has started rolling out the stable version of its Android 16-based One UI 8 to more devices. The rollout is now live for the Galaxy Wide 8 in South Korea. It is also available for the Galaxy A35 in select global markets.
Update for Galaxy Wide 8
The Galaxy Wide 8 is the latest model in Samsung’s Korean lineup to receive the new software. Users in the region are getting firmware version M166SKSU3BYI8. This brings the full set of One UI 8 features for this device.
While the Wide 8 name is specific to South Korea, the same phone is sold globally under different branding. In most markets, it is known as the Galaxy M16. In some regions, it is offered as the Galaxy F16.
That means the stable One UI 8 should be on its way to M16 and F16 units very soon. As usual, the rollout will be in phases. This means that not all units will get the update at the same time.
Update for Galaxy A35
Samsung is also releasing One UI 8 for the Galaxy A35, one of its mid-range hits of 2024. The update has started rolling out in Iran. It uses the firmware build A356EXXU5CYI8 / A356EOJMCYI8.
Like other One UI releases, availability will expand to additional countries in the coming weeks as Samsung widens the rollout.
By rolling out One UI 8 to both the Galaxy Wide 8 and the Galaxy A35, Samsung is showing its commitment to keeping users updated, no matter the price bracket.
How to Check for the Update
- If you have one of these phones, there should be a prompt for you to update your device. If you have not received this prompt, no need to fear. Just follow the steps below
- Open Settings on your Samsung phone
- Scroll down and tap Software update
- Wait while the phone checks for updates
